Social Ignition is based on The Gold Coast in Australia. Having previously done Social Media and marketing in the UK prior to making the move ‘downunder’, it is our hope to bring a great social media consultancy to the Gold Coast area.
About Social Ignition
Here at Social Ignition we’ve always had a thing for social media. From the golden days of the first computer BBS, to IRC channels and now to the new wave of social media, we have experienced it all. Social media has changed over the years, but the overall ethos behind it has remained the same, connecting with people.
Tracy – Social Ignition’s Social Media Psychologist
In the office we refer to Tracy as the Social Media Psychologist. With her educational background in Behavioural Science, Sociology, Psychology and a work background in IT, marketing, management, instruction and of course social media, Tracy is our “go to girl” for social media strategy, development and implementation.
Offering a friendly approach, Tracy understands your needs and works with you to get what you want from your social media platform. With a real focus on understanding your business and your customers, there’s no room here for techno babble.
Over the years, Tracy has ignited social media for various companies, including one of Australia’s leading Artificial Intelligence companies, a UK hotel chain, a UK property management company and more recently one of Australia’s most prestigious Universities. However large or small your business or institution, Tracy is great to work with.

Angela – Social Ignition’s Enterprise Officer
As much as Angela wishes her company name meant she got to walk the decks of the Starship Enterprise on Star Trek, it doesn’t. Like Tracy, Angela has an educational background in Sociology and Behavioural Science and she knows social media is changing all the time.
It is her job to stay at the forefront of what’s new in the realm of social media and ensure Social Ignition is on top of trends, future integration and upcoming brands. She has an eye for detail and is always involved in the design of sites, images for social media channels and more.

Colin – Social Ignition’s Computer ‘Mad’ Scientist
With a love of computing and upcoming development languages Colin is computer mad. With his educational background in Computer Science and an employment background in web design and implementation, Colin is Social Ignition’s resident tech guy.
With a head constantly full of computer languages and ideas, if there are new ways of integrating social media, Colin is on top of it and ensures Social Ignition is too.
