MTV Supports Social Media and Selects First Twitter Jockey

Thought that social media jobs were the creme de la creme? You’re right. Gabi Gregg, a 23 year old fashion blogger from Detroit just won a competition to become MTV’s first ever Twitter Jockey in a live TV show entitled Follow Me: The search for the First MTV TJ.

Gregg will be moving to New York soon where she’ll be starting her new position tweeting 24-7 for MTV. The position carries with it a lovely $100,000 pay check, which certainly makes it most social media users dream job. Gregg beat off stiff competition in a lengthy recruitment process by MTV, but is clearly over the moon about her new occupation.
